Manufacturing Process
Our manufacturing process begins with the utilization of electrolytic grade annealed copper wire, sourced directly from Aditya Birla Hindalco Industries Limited. This copper wire is renowned for its exceptional purity, with a minimum of 99.97% purity and over 101% conductivity, making it one of the purest copper available in the country.
To ensure precision and quality, our wire drawing process is conducted using a state-of-the-art 16-wire NIEHOFF Multiwire drawing machine. This machine, crafted with German precision technology, has a drawing capacity range from 0.150 mm to 0.6 mm. Compressed air is supplied by a German compressor and transported through French air pipes, while our plant receives RO water through German-engineered water pipes.
During the wire drawing process, we employ American engineered diamond dies and world-class German lubricants to maintain uniformity in the drawn copper wire. Subsequently, the wires undergo an annealing process to enhance workability, ductility, and machinability, resulting in improved toughness and reduced hardness.
The drawn and annealed wires are then skillfully twisted and bunched using German NIEHOFF bunching machines. This process enables the production of world-class bunched copper conductors, particularly renowned for manufacturing the finest Evenlay Conductor in the country. Each individual wire strand is precisely arranged around a core wire to form a perfectly uniform concentric and evenly distributed conductor.
Moving to the insulation stage, the bunched conductors are meticulously insulated using high-speed extruders. For insulation, we utilize RoHS compliant PVC compound known for its excellent electrical insulation properties. Our extruders are equipped with the top-of-the-line Zumbach Swiss in-line non-contact measuring and control devices.
To ensure the highest quality, the insulated wire undergoes high-frequency online spark testing. This process detects any anomalies or irregularities in the insulation of the product, guaranteeing a defect-free final product.
